ESC Funding for Regional Data Lead Support on Attendance Available

ESCs may receive a stipend for attendance support services provided to districts and buildings by Regional Data Leads credentialed in "Understanding and Using Attendance Data for Improvement" between January 1, 2024 and June 30, 2024.

District and building level support provided will consist of the following:
  • Understanding and analyzing attendance data,
  • Using attendance data to develop and evaluate multi-tiered systems of support interventions and evidence-based strategies to prevent and address chronic absenteeism,
  • Lead and complete district training on the use of data tools and resources for the purpose of building data routines that include formative and summative data analysis,
  • Provide follow-up sessions to districts to discuss attendance data as requested.
Regional Data Leads who are not currently credentialed in "Understanding and Using Attendance Data for Improvement", can take the asynchronous course available through the Ohio Learning Community.

To participate, ESCs should complete the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and return to Tammy Hambrick (tammy.hambrick@scoesc.org). Upon receipt of the MOU, ESCs will receive further information about providing support, including details on how to track services and invoice for payment. ESCs that decide not to participate in the opportunity, should contact Tammy Hambrick (tammy.hambrick@scoesc.org) so that funds can be redistributed accordingly.
