Regional Data Lead Extension Grant Opportunity
Request for ESC and SST Regional Data Lead Participation
The need for educators to understand student performance data to measure learning progress and monitor recovery and re-engagement has never been more important. Educational Service Centers (ESCs), State Support Teams (SSTs), and Regional Data Leads (RDLs) are necessary to provide support and professional learning for educators to apply tools and strategies such as curriculum gap analysis, diagnostic data/student readiness toolkits, and online benchmark and checkpoint tests available through the state's online testing portal.
In 2020-21 a co-design process was used successfully by a coalition of ESCs to design and deploy the "Gauging Student Readiness" tools, resources, and credentialing assessment by Regional Data Leads in ESCs across the state. This co-design process will be continued and expanded in order to extend the previous training and support provided to RDLs by the coalition of ESCs.
The co-design process will include the opportunity for ESC and SST Regional Data Leads to participate on a variety of teams to complete the objectives: Project Development Team, Design Team, Implementation/Training and Delivery Team, Communication Team.
