Ohio Department of Health Physical Activity Grant
OESCA has partnered with the Ohio Department of Health to promote comprehensive statewide model school board policies by assisting in the development, promotion and training concerning increased physical activity for Ohio's K-12 public school districts and the 1.8 million students they serve.
This work is funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Communities Putting Prevention to Work (CPPW), State Supplemental Funding for Healthy Communities, Tobacco Control, Diabetes Prevention and Control, and Behavioral Risk Surveillance System grant award under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, Public Law 111-5 (ARRA).
