General Information About Inside OESCA

Inside OESCA is the Quarterly Newsletter Publication of the Ohio ESC Association.
The publication is distributed in hard copy, via email and is posted to the OESCA website.
The publication is distributed to ESC personnel and governing board members, state board of education members, Ohio legislators and other education stakeholder groups.
OESCA seeks original articles contributed by personnel of member organizations and other education professionals and related stakeholders.
The editors ask all writers to sign a document that gives the Inside OESCA newsletter permission to publish their articles.
Authors retain their copyright.
The Inside OESCA Newsletter editor reserves the right to edit work that is accepted for publication.
OESCA only accepts submissions from the original author of the articles or a publicist hired by the copyright owner to submit material here. By submitting material, you acknowledge that you are legally entitled to distribute the work and to allow it to be redistributed.

Submission Guidelines for the Inside OESCA Newsletter

Article maximum length is 1,500 words. Exceptions can be granted at the discretion of the editor.
Write about a timely and relevant topic of interest to Ohio ESCs and the Ohio education community (e.g., Leadership, Organizational Management, Governance, Accountability, Curriculum & Instruction, Standards and Assessment, Gifted Education, Special Education, etc.)
Include a brief abstract (approximately 40 words) and a bio (approximately 20 words) with the article.
Attach any related electronic pictures, charts or diagrams if possible and desired.
Use headings and subheadings.
Include an introduction and concluding section or paragraph.
Format any relevant citations according to APA style.
