District Funding Projections: March 24, 2011 - The Governor’s Office of Budget and Management (OBM) has released district-by-district projections for funding levels based on the Governor’s proposed FY 2012-2013 budget. The district-by-district projections and the funding explanation can be found on OBM’s website by clicking here. ODE has also posted a link to OBM’s website on ODE’s Office of Budget and Planning website under the Executive Budget Proposal heading.
It is important to note the projections released by OBM will be revised as the budget bill moves through the legislature. Districts should keep in mind the limitations of these projections if considering them in local budgetary decisions. As you are aware, nothing is final until the bill is signed by the Governor.
Education Budget Briefing - March 21, 2011
On March 21, 2011, Bob Sommers, Governor Kasich's Education Advisor, held a statewide meeting and live broadcast to discuss the broader policy contours of the Administration's Executive Budget Proposal for Education.
